Vehicle Description 1964 Ford Fairlane 500 Sport Coupe 289 V-8 Engine Three Speed Cruise-O-Matic Ford Transmission Ford 9 Rear End True Survivor Rare Car! One of the most sought-after Ford muscle cars is the Fairlane 500 Sports Coupe.
It has that great looking mid-Sixties-era hardtop styling, with body proportions that are just perfect.
The Sports Coupe got its own standard spinner wheel covers and extra exterior brightwork.
Large Sports Coupe scripts graced the C pillars.
The car presented at auction is a rare (1 of 12,431) original produced sport coupe with factory bucket seats, console, bright work and badging.
The body and paint present well and appear to be original.
Bumpers, door handles, fender spears and other brightwork are all present and show well.
The entire interior appears to be in original, survivor condition including door panels, seat covers, headliner and carpet.
There is one minor seam split in the driver seat The 289 V8 is believed to be original to the car, but not confirmed.
