Financial Analyst Reports to Director Strategy Analytics Primary Responsibilities Protect the legal financial and moral wellbeing of the Group Be a teacher to support the efforts of other employees to be successful Seek ways to improve business operations efficiencies Primary Duties As the Financial Analyst you will work with a team of analysts on strategic initiatives financial planning and analysis and projection for the LHM Group.
Compare portfolio companies against public companies for quarterly board reporting and assist in due diligence related to MA activity.
Develop interpret financial models in Excel Perform financial forecasting reporting and operational metrics tracking Analyze financial data and create financial models or decision support Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews Analyze past results perform variance analysis identify trends and make recommendations for improvements Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses study proposed changes in methods and materials Identify and drive process improvements including the creation of standard and adhoc reports tools and Excel dashboards Increase productivity by developing automated reportingforecasting tools Perform market research data mining business intelligence and valuation comps Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models Provide data analytical support to the Human ResourcePeople Culture department All other duties as assigned Job Qualifications Bachelors degree in accounting or finance Masters Degree preferred years of experience in accounting finance economics or related field Proficient in Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint Tableau or DOMO experience preferred SP Capital IQ experience preferred Experience with Hyperion or One Stream preferred Physical Requirements Work performed in an office setting.
Regularly required to sit stand bend reach and move about facilities.
