Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to further develop their skills as network engineers, system administrators, and VoIP gurus but you must be a rock star troubleshooter and have experience supporting networks and desktops. If you don't know phone systems and Voice over IP, that's okay but expert troubleshooting and networking skills are a must!
This job can be challenging at times and you must be able to handle the stress of down systems, angry customers, technology failing, etc. Able and willing to learn and adapt quickly to new and changing technologies.
Qualifications
Network
certification - Preferred
Minimum of 1 year experience troubleshooting and installing network equipment such as firewalls, routers, and switches preferred. The more the better!
Must know business firewalls and network switches and have a strong understanding of TCP/IP and networking.
Able to troubleshoot computer and network-related issues quickly.
Natural ability to figure things out. Technical aptitude and love for technology, computers, and networking.
Strong customer service skills are a must.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Able to lift 50 lbs.
Phone system / PBX experience is a plus.
Web development, programming, and/or scripting skills are a plus.
Education and certifications are a plus.
Protocol and traffic analyzing skills are a plus.
Asterisk, Linux, Metaswitch, and Zultys skills are a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
