Mechanical Designer

Job Description
We are seeking a full time or part time Mechanical Designer. Part time employee must be able to work a minimum of 24 hrs per week. The first six months will be spent creating detail drawings while training to be a Designer. Salary DOE.
Responsibilities
Develop detailed general arrangement and fabrication drawings for mechanical equipment using 3D CAD software
Interface with Project Managers and Engineers to design, lay out, or detail components
Compile equipment submittal packages for customer review and approval
Inspect fabricated equipment
Qualifications
3D CAD software experience (Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP)
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc)
Process and detailed oriented
Knowledge/training in the ANSI Y-14 drafting standard preferred
0-3 years of drafting experience and/or Associates in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology
IDEAL CANDIDATE(s):
Mechanical Designer with 3-5 years experience
Pre-engineering major looking for work experience

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
