Responsibilities
Job Title:
Distribution Network Operations Center (DNOC) Technician I
Primary Roles and Responsibilities
1) Provide installation and maintenance support to field service technicians who are installing receive site server and satellite communications equipment.
2) Resolve site specific network connectivity and content delivery issues.
3) Perform time sensitive content management tasks.
Job Details
- Field Service Technician Support
o Support field technicians performing on-site installation or maintenance events.
o Perform initial remote site equipment configuration and testing.
- Network Connectivity Monitoring
o Isolate and resolve site specific network connectivity issues.
o Escalate global network issues to DNOC II or other appointed personnel.
- Content Management Tasks
o Support DNOC II personnel with recurring content management/booking submissions.
Qualifications
Experience and Skills Required
- Understanding of operational workflow in a technical environment employing multiple systems/platforms to execute deliverables.
- Knowledge of database workflow and information management.
- Ability to maintain self-motivation and produce measurable results working within constrained time-frames and stressful situations.
- Technical aptitude strongly preferred.
- Job experience in a LAN/WAN environment working with networked systems, appliances and/or servers preferred.
Other
- Shift requirements are Mon - Thu, 12p - 10p ('4 Tens').
- Required participation in inbound call queue to support field technician calls.
- Occasional participation in live event confidence monitoring.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
