Production Manager

Job Description
Seeking a experienced and trained Production Manager to facilitate a continuous improvement mindset of production staff to meet high standards of quality and efficiency. The candidate will do this by proactively leading electronic therapeutic modality operations in accordance with good manufacturing principles (GMP), standard operating procedure (SOP) guidelines, and state and federal regulations.

A successful candidate understands manufacturing environment and possess personal skills relative to electronics or similar types of manufacturing processes. The candidate should have a high level of written and oral communication skills, including the ability to draft policy and procedures relative to management responsibilities. The ability to build and maintain rapport with all company departments and vendors and use strong problem-solving, strategic-thinking, and critical-analysis skills are a must.
This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. This position pays $60,000 - $80,000 a year depending on experience.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee manufacturing and distribution operations of DynaWest in accordance with good manufacturing principles (GMP) to meet high quality standards, maximize cost control, reduce waste, and execute on-time delivery.
Analyze plant performance by regularly reviewing production and operating data/reports so as to control capital, operating expenditure, and labor costs. Partner with Information Systems (IT) to leverage data management and customer relationship management (CRM) tools for this purpose.
Align processes with lean manufacturing techniques (Kaizen) and maintain plant organization and cleanliness to reduce waste and maximize process efficiency.
Coordinate all functions of manufacturing to meet customer expectations with both stock and custom products. Proactively identify and resolve potential and actual operational and employee relation issues in order to facilitate fast operational improvements and improve synergistic working relationships.
Develop and maintain internal control and auditing policies, guidelines, and procedures to limit materials by gradually increasing inventory turns and reducing levels on hand.
Partner with Human Resources to acquire, professionally develop, and manage talented staff capable of consistently meeting and exceeding manufacturing and distribution objectives.
Implement preventative maintenance programs for existing plant facilities and equipment. Replace or make adjustments to plant facilities and equipment when necessary.
Ensure the safety of every employee by strictly implementing and adhering to industry safety standards under OSHA.
Perform additional related duties as needed.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor s degree in manufacturing technology, business administration, or equivalent knowledge and experience.
Minimum of 5 years of plant/general management experience in a manufacturing environment.
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Influential, high level of written and oral communication skills, including ability to draft policy and procedures relative to management responsibilities.
Experience in Kaizen or other lean manufacturing techniques. Experience with FDA Good Manufacturing Practices helpful.
Proficient in computer systems, preferably Visual manufacturing software, and spreadsheet preparation and analysis (Excel).
Understanding of accounting principles related to manufacturing processes.
Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift equipment over 100 pounds using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
