Night-shift CNC Machinist

Company Overview:
X-1 Precision, Inc. is a manufacturer of medical device components. The company has been in operation for seven years and has been growing rapidly. We are located in Sandy, Utah.
Position Overview:
The company is seeking, for immediate hire, a full-time machinist. This machinist position will be responsible for setting up multi-axis CNC mill-turns and multi-axis screw machines for production runs. Machines include a 7 to 8 axis screw machines and 10 axis mill-turns.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
Perform set up of CNC machines
Make changes to CNC machine programs
Troubleshoot machine issues for machine operators
Teach operators programming and offsets where appropriate
Follow company work instructions and policies
Keep work area clean, organized, and free of debris
Others duties assigned
Job Functions may also include:
Efficiently run production on CNC machines
Perform inspections of product prior to and during production
Fill out required paperwork
Deburr product while operating machine
Qualifications
Must have 5
years of machining experience.
Programming experience preferred
GibbsCAM experience preferred
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able lift 50 pounds
