Responsibilities
As a DE Underwriter you will be responsible for calculating income accurately per FHA/Agency Guidelines, including but not limited to reviewing Tax Returns and any accompanying Tax Schedules. Verifying assets required to close loans, an ability to meet company set production volumes, and able to work additional hours as needed. You will also assist loan officers in answering questions or concerns they have in regards to their files.
Qualifications
Excellent FHA Guide Knowledge
3 years FHA Processing
DE is a plus
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational abilities
Detail-oriented
Strong problem solving skills
Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and handle a heavy workload
Computer Skills:
Windows, Microsoft, Excel and LOS System preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
