Software Support Engineer

LVM, Inc. is a growing telecommunication software technology company and is seeking a Software Support Engineer. The ideal candidate will be seeking a career, not a job, be energetic and enthusiastic, be a quick learner, reliable, and understand the tech environment.
This position is responsible for providing support to end users for LVM, Inc.'s software product; VXTracker. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Documents, tracks and monitors problems to ensure a timely resolution. Must be able to analyze information and make sound decisions that have direct impact on the client as well as the Company. The Software Support Engineer is accountable for achieving results while providing exceptional customer service. The Software Support Engineer will also have duties related to LVM Inc.'s other software products; VXPulse, VXMobile and VXRecord. Salary will be based on experience. Technical Support
Respond to requests for technical assistance via phone and electronically
Gather configuration information from customer prior to software installation
Install software products and verify functionality
Diagnose and resolve technical system and software issues
Identify support requests that represent additional system feature requests and/or system bugs
Stay current with system information, technology and Industry trends related to Call Accounting, cellular device services and general telecommunications
Customer Service
Demonstrate system capabilities to customers and effectively explain how the system can be used when required.
Respond to any customer inquiries or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Ensure customer satisfaction by dealing professionally and effectively with internal and external customers.
Miscellaneous duties
Completes detailed notes on every Support request.
Maintains high level of technical and product knowledge.
Establishes and maintains good public relations.
Some Linux configuration of computing appliances
Performs all other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Experience and Knowledge
SQL programming and queries
Ability to analyze/interpret application log files
Ability to analyze/interpret raw data in order to develop/define logic to parse data
Javascript and XML
Knowledge of basic network functionality
Knowledge of Windows OS's and troubleshooting Windows issues
Knowledge of Phone Branch Exchanges a plus, including Cisco, Nortel, Avaya, Mitel and Shoretel
Proficiency in MS Office
Basic web application and client/server knowledge

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
