Cable Support Specialist

Telarus, Inc. is a distributor of telecommunications products and services through a network of independent sales partners and is expanding in many departments. The Support Group is just one of the departments that is expanding and is adding another Cable Support Specialist.
Support Telarus agent pricing requests, monitor provisioning statuses for orders, and support agent immediate needs and activities for cable requests.
Key areas of Responsibility:
Review and submit contracts for cable orders
Communicate status updates of orders to the partner
Proactively monitor provisioning statuses and address/escalate as needed
Facilitate paperwork generation processes between the supplier and the agent
Consults With:
Support Manager
Partnered Telarus Channel Manager
Vendor Support Manager
Commissions Department
All levels of management
Effective communicator via phone or email
Effective listener
Ability to manage multiple projects and identify/address individual issues
Display ability to critically think through issues to identify an appropriate solution
Maintain a role of ethics and honesty
40 hours continuing education per year
Requires TCA certification within 60 days of employment
Requires Cable certification within 60 days of employment (when available)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
