Inside Channel Account Manager

Telarus, Inc. is a distributor of telecommunications products and services through a network of independent sales partners and is expanding in many departments. We are looking for an Inside Channel Account Manager.
The Inside Channel Account Manager, "ICAM", is responsible for developing, supporting, and stimulating a group of Sales Partners in a defined territory. These activities are performed primarily via telephone and email. The ICAM will generate incremental revenue opportunities through a constant focus on partner enablement activities, to drive revenue growth for the assigned partner base. The ICAM will promote and educate Sales Partners on products, services, sales/marketing initiatives. The ICAM will actively participate in coordinated sales calls with the Partner and Suppliers. The Inside Channel Account Manager will be expected to meet or exceed target metrics as shown below. Some travel may be required. This is a full-time position.
Activate, grow, and manage assigned partners not managed by PDMs
Connect to all partners through social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook)
Provide a positive experience for all assigned partners
Drive attendance at regular sales and technical trainings
Project manage on-boarding and training process for all new partners
Provide proactive and reactive support to assigned partners
Proactively make outbound calls to all partners in designated territory
Engaging virtual team members as needed
Demand generation activities
Blitz/call days to Partners
Provide daily reports on activity and results
Manage and update partner database in Sabiona
Manage a base of 75 to 100 partners
Collaborate with Partner Development Manager on driving regional objectives
Conduct baseline account review with each new Sales Partner (Sales Questions)
Introduce all new Sales Partners to Telarus Virtual Team
Assist PDM in management tasks
Grow the number of partners who have sold more than 15K over the last 12 month period
Increase the number of selling partners in an assigned territory.
Grow the number of partners who sell more than $5000 in a single month

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
