Administrative Assistant

Provides assistance to the Administrator and Management Team through typing, communication, minutes-taking, calendaring and other duties as required by the Administrator. Assists in coordinating human resource activities related to employment, payroll, and benefits. Provides communication with all employees who are provided with benefits.
1. College education or equivalent experience in business/clerical applications. Medical background preferred, especially in the area of home health or hospice.
2. Knowledge of specific computer programs (Word Perfect or Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point) with ability to access and deliver e-mail to appropriate personnel, as well as other computer programs that may become necessary in the performing of specific duties.
3. Typing speed of at least 80 words per minute.
4. Ability to prioritize and organize responsibilities.
5. Ability to keep schedules, make appointments and follow-through on specific assignments.
6. Ability to read and write English. Additional languages a bonus.
7. Must have excellent telephone answering skills.
8. Must have excellent skills in grammar, spelling, punctuation and writing.
9. Must be task oriented and able to perform and manage multiple tasks concurrently and/or simultaneously.
10. Ability and willingness to learn new skills as may be required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
