Network / VoIP Engineer

Intellisys is currently seeking Voice over IP / Network Engineers.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to further develop their skills as network engineers, system administrators, and VoIP gurus but you must be a rock star troubleshooter and have experience supporting desktops. If you don't know phone systems and Voice over IP, that's okay but expert troubleshooting skills are a must!
Responsibilities include:
Respond to requests for technical assistance in via phone, electronically, and sometimes in person
Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
Research questions using available information resources
Advise user on appropriate action
Follow standard help desk procedures
Log all help desk interactions
Redirect problems to appropriate resource
Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
Stay current with system information, changes and updates
Complete accurate and timely paperwork.
Assist with programming and installing servers, switches, routers, telephone systems, and other equipment.
This job can be challenging at times and you must be able to handle the stress of down systems, angry customers, technology failing, etc.
Able and willing to learn and adapt quickly to new and changing technologies. (Some days you will feel like your brain is on fire!)
Minimum of 5 years experience troubleshooting and installing Windows desktop and server operating systems, network equipment, and software. The more the better!
Able to troubleshoot computer and network-related issues quickly.
Natural ability to figure things out.
Good understanding of TCP/IP and networking.
Technical aptitude and love for technology, computers, and networking.
Strong customer service skills are a must.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Able to lift 50 lbs.
Availability for after hours and on-call work.
Additional considerations:
Phone system / PBX experience is a plus.
Web development, programming, and/or scripting skills are a plus.
Education and certifications are a plus.
Protocol and traffic analyzing skills are a plus.
Linux skills are a plus.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
