We are looking for a friendly and experienced dog groomer (2-4 years plus) to perform all full service grooming related duties.
Responsibilities include bathing dogs of various sizes and temperaments, trimming, clipping or shaving hair/fur, and removing matted hair.
You should also be able to ensure that grooming tools and equipment are in good working condition.
To be successful, you should be able to comply with pet owners' instructions as well as accommodate any special requests that they may have.
Ultimately, a top-notch dog groomer will treat all animals with the utmost love and care.
Camp Bow Wow Sandy is located at 9495 S 700 E, Ste 2A, Sandy, UT.
We offer 50% commission.
Qualified groomers can opt into our 401(k) savings plan.
Dog Groomer Requirements:
Certification through the National Dog Groomer Association of America is advantageous.
Proven professional grooming experience with knowledge of current grooming practices and techniques.
Provide exceptional client service and contribute to a positive and collaborative working environment.
Sound understanding of animal behavior and ability to treat all animals with compassion.
Have strength and stamina to handle all breeds as well as lift heavy pets and equipment.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.

De-matting and detangling hair as required.
Bathing, conditioning, and drying dogs Trimming pets' nails, brushing teeth, and cleaning their ears Grooming and styling dogs according to pet parent's instructions or standard grooming styles Accommodating special requests that pet owners may have.
Identifying health issues in pets, such as ear infections, skin conditions, or tooth decay, and informing pet parents of these observations.
Ensuring that all pets are safe during the grooming process.
Routinely cleaning work areas Recommending suitable products to dog owners.
Our grooming facility is designed to ensure the safety of our clients' pets and the ability to allow groomers to work comfortably.
Must have updated resume and a portfolio of your work.
