We are seeking a Food Preparation Worker to join our team in the food industry.
As a Food Preparation Worker, you will assist in the preparation of meals and ensure that all food is prepared and presented according to company standards.
This is an important role in our dietary department, as you will contribute to providing high-quality meals to our customers.
Shift will start at 9am Duties:
- Assist in the preparation of meals by following recipes and portion control guidelines - Cut, chop, and peel fruits, vegetables, and meats using knives and other kitchen tools - Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes - Assist with menu planning and meal preparation - Ensure that all food is properly stored and labeled - Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures - Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment - Assist with inventory management and stock rotation Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role in the food industry is preferred - Knowledge of catering or cooking techniques is a plus - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Good knife skills for cutting and preparing ingredients - Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Excellent teamwork and communication skills This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about food preparation and wants to contribute to creating delicious meals.
