Responsibilities:
o Organize and maintain detailed case files, including legal documents, correspondence, and client communicationso Keep track of case timelines and deadlines to ensure timely actions are takeno Regularly update and maintain case management software/databaseo Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing them with updates on their caseso Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionallyo Obtain necessary information and documentation from clients, such as updated injuries and a list of providerso Facilitate communication between legal professionals, clients, and external partieso Ensure timely sharing of information within the legal team and your attorneyo Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents, correspondence, and reportso Collect all relevant medical records and billso Request billing ledgers, review outstanding balances, and list of providersEnsure timely billing and/or a lien is in placeo Assist with resolving contractual issues with Medicare and Medicaid, etco Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and other legal staffo Attend team meetings and case review sessions to provide updates on case statuses
Qualifications:
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required for this Legal Case Manager positiono The ideal candidate should possess exceptional organizational abilities and be detail-orientedo The ability to handle confidential information with discretion is a must for this roleo Familiarity with various legal practice areas is a plus for this Legal Case Manager positiono Good customer service skills are essential for effectively interacting with clientso General computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, are requiredo Experience in Personal Injury Law, medical, and/or insurance industries is a pluso Fluent English speaking skills are preferred for this Legal Case Manager roleSpanish speaking skills are a plusAbout Company:
