This position is responsible for creating, maintaining and organizing plans using AutoCAD.
Adding changes and options to plans and updating them per building code, and HOA requirements.
Able to work with sales team and construction team to aid in the building process, and answer questions related to the plans.
Calculating square footages Create sales sheets and blacklines Check framing plans, grading plan and site plans for errors.
Coordinate with design center for plan changes.
Coordinate with sub-contractors and prepare documents to acquire city permit and HOA approval.
Visit field site to verify if building construction is according to plan.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years experience in architectural residential drafting.
Knowledge of AutoCAD architecture software.
Knowledge of REScheck software.
Basic understanding and interpretation of architectural drawings and residential construction.
Knowledge of multi-family construction a plus.
Able to transfer sketches to computer with minimal assistance.
Ability to manage multiple projects and keep them all organized.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Good communication skills Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Dropbox, and Google Drive.
