The Senior Analyst, Finance, under general direction, will be responsible for a wide variety of reporting, planning, and forecasting responsibilities on a business unit-wide basis. This role focuses on supporting the planning and forecasting process and providing value-added analysis and recommendations to support business growth. Interprets and implements financial concepts for financial planning and control. Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. Performs economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements. Principal Activities Responsible for the financial planning and forecast processing for the assigned P&L, and supporting the consolidation and reporting across multiple P&Ls Assist with trouble shooting issues to recommend and implement solutions in ERP system Work with operations personnel on the annual physical inventory process and assist with analyzing variances. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated results and reports, including variance analysis to forecast and plan, and provide insights to Management Load budgets and forecasts into Adaptive Insights and BPC and provide in-depth analysis on financial performance and variances, interpreting results, and alerting and making recommendations to management on performance and any significant variances to plan and forecast for use by the Company for group, investor, and Board of Directors presentations Manage monthly update process for forecast and annual budget preparation Work with and support project champions, leads or department and business leadership to provide monthly financial and transactional information in support of reporting efforts for strategic department or business unit-wide initiatives and projects as needed and assigned, i.e. CIRCOR Operating System (COS), Product Management, etc. Provide support to strategic corporate initiatives and projects:
presentations, complex scenarios analyses, financial modeling, etc. Provide ad hoc reporting and contribute to and drive Company projects, as required and requested Responsible to adhere to compliance requirements for applicable regulations, internal controls and Corporate policies and procedures. Coordinate, resolve, and ensure financial compliance with regulatory agencies Identify and assist to drive FP&A related process improvements, and assist with analyzing processes and procedures to expose any information useful in improving operation efficiencies Participate in and support external, required audits, and may conduct internal audits in preparation for external auditing process JOB REQUIREMENTS CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Energetic self-starter and independent thinker with the ability to drive results Solid written, verbal, and presentation skills Exceptional analysis skills Sound understanding of percentage of completion (POC) accounting method Proven experience in process improvement and reducing working capital Ability to support the process to educate, inform, and influence cross-functional middle managers through effective verbal and written communication Organized, patient, and self-motivated with good interpersonal skills suited to a fast paced, dynamic culture Ability to multi-task and prioritize, work to deadlines, work efficiently and with a keen eye on deadlines and strong time management Proficiency with MS tools and advanced in Excel Strong experience with ERP systems, Adaptive experience preferred Good working knowledge of PLM and CRM a plus The ability to demonstrate CIRCOR's Values & Absolutes, which are; Customer Intimacy, Team Before Self, Commitment & Accountability, Speed, Excellence & Innovation, Safety, Ethics & Controls The ability to demonstrate CIRCOR's Core Competencies, which are; Adaptability, Analytical Thinking, Communication, Customer Focus, Drive for Results & Accountability, Innovation, Leadership, Talent Development, Teamwork & Inclusion, Technical/Functional Skills Education & Experience Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or similar field. MBA/CPA preferred. 8 plus years of professional experience with an emphasis on financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, consolidations, and technical accounting. Large, global corporate experience in the area of manufacturing and knowledge of percentage of completion accounting a plus.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Accounting, Corporate FinanceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
