Various Early Childhood Education Positions
Persons hired will provide the safety & protection of the children in his/her care. Interaction with the children and other providers in this area/class/center. Provide fun learning activities, arts & crafts, participate with off-site field trip adventures, prepare meals, in addition, to our already planned curriculum. Our programs serve children ages 4 weeks through age 12. We have the following opportunities available at this time:
After-School Activities Coordinator - Works with the children at the facility after-school and in our off-track programs to have outdoor play, arts & crafts, after-school snacks, homework time, and enrichment activities. Our program provides a safe environment for the children to be in after school has finished for the day.
Cook/Chef - Several cooks/chefs needed for our busy, fun early childhood programs. Provide simple, yet nutritious, meals for children. Time management and cleanliness a must. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. This job requires sitting, bending, lifting, reaching, standing, and pulling.
Preschool Teacher - Provide fun learning activities and arts & crafts, in addition, to our already planned curriculum. Children in this classroom are 3-5 years old and are ready for preschool. We are a licensed, full-service, premium Early Childhood educational facility. May need to help newly potty trained children when necessary with toileting.
Infant/Toddler Caregivers - We are looking for a few go-getters! We need energetic & loving individuals to nurture and look after our busy infants, toddlers, and 2's. We need a person who is enthusiastic and dependable with a willingness to learn our best practices.
Substitute/Float - We are looking for someone who is flexible and have reliable transportation. A childcare or preschool background is helpful.
We need a persons who are enthusiastic and dependable with a willingness to learn our best practices. Our staff are required to attend evening training meetings 1-3 times per month as part of our effort to meet State Licensing training regulations, so applicants should be aware of this job requirement. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and pass a background screening (provide fingerprints if needed). Person hired will need to obtain CPR & First Aid and Food Service permit.
Experience & bilingual would be nice but not required.
Sitting, standing, lifting (50 lbs.), bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling are part of the job. We go outside each day so staff will need to be prepared for changing weather conditions.
We are a licensed, full-service, premium child care facility. We provide an orientation and training program for all newly hired individuals.
Positions are located at our Riverton, Draper, South Jordan, and Sandy facilities. It is very important for us to find nurturing, friendly, and reliable individuals.
