Under the supervision of the Director of Accounting, Auditing and Budgeting and the Payroll Director the Payroll Admin Assistant will be assigned tasks to carry out the payroll function for the District.
## ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Implement True Time in all elementary, middle and high schools.
Train all True Time users how to use True Time.
Create and maintain all True Time documentation including training docs and user guides. These will be made available and maintained via the Payroll website.
Setup new True Time Employees as provided by Human Resources.
Maintain True Time Organization Chart for employees as they move locations and change jobs.
Obtain a working knowledge of how True Time works to be able to provide answers to employees that are having difficulties with the program.
Act as a back-up to the Payroll Staff to enable the Payroll process to run smoothly. This includes the import of True Time into the pay run each month
Complete other duties as assigned.

Must have Skyward experience preferably in the Human Resource module, including True time
Requires High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Two years job specific experience.
Must have excellent data entry skills, including 10-key number pad.
Requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Includes ability to communicate both orally and verbally.
Requires demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize in order to manage workload.
Requires a thorough knowledge of District policies and procedures.
NOTE: The Administration reserves the right to require specific training for this position. However, depending upon the type and quality of prior work experience and availability of formal training programs, some exchanges can be made between training and experience.

Requires ability to lift a minimum of ten (10) pounds.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
